market to market is a little gift store in Toowoomba, Queensland, stocking 100% Australian-designed gifts, jewellery, stationery, art, accessories, toys, clothes and interesting objects, as well as vintage clothes and accessories from Nerida's Little Shop of Oldfangled Beauties.
market to market is owned by us: Angela and Michael. After living in Melbourne for a while, we moved back to Queensland with no particular plans to open a shop. But we quickly spotted an opportunity to bring some of the Melbourne design market scene to Toowoomba and market to market was born.
We knew that the thirst for all things handmade/crafty/upcycled/Australian-designed was growing and there wasn't a place in Toowoomba where you could get all these things in the one store. We know that people want lovely things that are interesting, unique and clever as opposed to mass-produced, sweatshop-made and chain store-stocked. We think Toowoomba is a great place for us to showcase local and national designers, crafters and artists.
